چکیده

Secure computation of a random access machine (RAM) program typically entails that it be first converted into a circuit. This conversion is unimaginable in the context of big-data applications where the size of the circuit can be exponential in the running time of the original RAM program. Realizing these constructions, without relinquishing the efficiency of RAM programs, often poses considerable technical hurdles. Our understanding of these techniques in the multi-party setting is largely limited. Specifically, the round complexity of all known protocols grows linearly in the running time of the program being computed. In this work, we consider the multi-party case and obtain the following

Efficient Maliciously Secure Multiparty Computation for RAM

A crucial issue, that mostly affects the performance of actively secure computation of RAM programs, is the task of reading/writing from/to memory in a private and authenticated manner. Previous works in the active security and multiparty settings are based purely on the SPDZ (reactive) protocol, hence, memory accesses are treated just like any input to the computation. However, a garbled-circu...

Scalable Secure Multiparty Computation

We present the first general protocol for secure multiparty computation which is scalable, in the sense that the amortized work per player does not grow, and in some natural settings even vanishes, with the number of players. Our protocol is secure against an active adversary which may adaptively corrupt up to some constant fraction of the players. The protocol can be implemented in a constant ...

Adaptively Secure, Universally Composable, Multiparty Computation in Constant Rounds

Cryptographic protocols with adaptive security ensure that security holds against an adversary who can dynamically determine which parties to corrupt as the protocol progresses—or even after the protocol is finished. In the setting where all parties may potentially be corrupted, and secure erasure is not assumed, it has been a long-standing open question to design secure-computation protocols w...

On 2-Round Secure Multiparty Computation

Substantial efforts have been spent on characterizing the round complexity of various cryptographic tasks. In this work we study the round complexity of secure multiparty computation in the presence of an active (Byzantine) adversary, assuming the availability of secure point-to-point channels and a broadcast primitive. It was recently shown that in this setting three rounds are sufficient for ...

Equivocating Yao: Constant-Rounds Adaptively Secure Multiparty Computation in the Plain Model

Yao’s garbling scheme is one of the basic building blocks of crytographic protocol design. Originally designed to enable two-message, two-party secure computation, the scheme has been extended in many ways and has innumerable applications. Still, a basic question has remained open throughout the years: Can the scheme be extended to guarantee security in the face of an adversary that corrupts bo...
